Paint your Pumpkins PINK!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness week at Cowgirl Confidential we wanted to stop and make sure you’ve heard of this! Yep, that’s right you take your Orange Pumpkins and paint’em PINK! Yes, Pink! The perfect color for just about any girl. Another campaign to raise awareness of Breast Cancer by painting your Halloween Pumpkins PINK!

Of course you can dress them up or cut’em out any way you choose but I absolutely think this sounds like a ton of fun. We want to know if you’ve ever done this or if it’s something you’ll consider doing this October. What could it hurt?

Here are some darling pictures we found from previous years of Painted Pink Pumpkins! They look awesome huh?

Looks like fun to me! Might even try lining your driveway with Pink lights instead of white ones. Let me know…are you going to try this or have you in the past?

The possibilities are endless but the awareness is serious!

Rock the Pink!

Rock the Pink and Support Breast Cancer! This month rock some pink in support of one of the greatest causes – breast cancer awareness. As you will see some of my favorite pink items are listed below that in some way or another support breast cancer research. However, before you grab your shopping cart, I ask that you please take a moment and learn a little bit about this cause and why it’s important for you to do a monthly self exam at home.

Breast Cancer is very serious and while shopping for Pink items, posting the latest game for Facebook, wearing a pink shirt, running in a marathon, …well you get the idea…while raising awareness can sometimes be fun it is also important to be aware yourself please visit www.komen.org or talk to your doctor about what you can do for yourself!

Try these smaller things you can do and still Rock the Pink!
