Share your Holiday Recipes

Comments Off 01 December 2010

This holiday season we want to know what your favorite recipe is.  It can be from any category; main course, dessert, or even that special drink that gets you through the holiday with your family (or someone else’s family).  We will publish your recipes under our new category Cowgirl Kitchen.  We hope that over time we collect enough for a Cowgirl Confidential Recipe book.

I’ll also be kind enough to share my own recipes that are my favorite or have been passed down from my family.  Please email me your recipe and I will package it up in it’s own little neat post.  You will need to share your name (full or initials, whichever you choose) and the name of your recipe.  You make also provide your city and state and a picture if you would like to do so.  Please do not forget to include all ingredients and cooking instructions.

Happy Holidays & Happy Cooking!

It’s the time of year for sugar plums and candy canes.  That means Christmas parties and New Years Eve gatherings to dress up and sparkle.  We can help make it easy for you this Holiday season with some fun and sparkly outfits.  Whether it’s formal or not we can help you find that perfect outfit to make you dazzle.

Check out these amazing dresses

It doesn’t matter if you are ringing in the New Year or chatting it up with Co-Workers, having the right accessories are a must!

Whatever you decide to sparkle in this Holiday Season, I know you’ll look fantastic.  Just remember to accessorize, relax, and have a great time.  Be sure to see what other Holiday goodies we have to showcase the next few weeks, including our glam gift guide for all of you who still have a gift list to tackle (like me).

One of the craziest months I have had is finally over, WooHoo!!!  With projects going on in every which direction and one thing after the next going wrong, I was actually glad the Thanksgiving Holiday was upon us.  I wasn’t sure I would make it to Thanksgiving but thankfully I did and even got my pies made.

With Thanksgiving now behind us and we move towards decorating the Christmas tree and beginning our shopping (for some maybe almost done), hopefully it won’t get to hectic again.  If  it does, I want to remind you of a few lessons I had to remember the week before Thanksgiving.

~ You can only do so much in one day

~ You are only one person

~ Everything will work out

~ Do not say “What else could go wrong?” because you might find out the answer

~ Do not stress about things that are out of your control

~ Have FAITH!  Even Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains

~ Do not let other people bring you down

~ Stop and enjoy life especially when you feel like you don’t have the time

~ Most importantly, remember what the Holidays are truly about and cherish the time spent with family

Please remember these very simple things during the Holidays, and every day.  Life starts moving faster then we can keep up sometimes and we can only do so much.  Most of the time what we are trying to do is not life and death either.  If you are like me you are only capable of 10 things in a day but try to accomplish 100 things in a day.  It doesn’t always work out (if ever) and we are left feeling drained, tired, and unappreciative of the things around us.  Stop and refresh from time to time.

I hope your Holiday Season is blessed beyond measure and when you begin to get a little hectic you will remember what the true meaning of the season is about when you stop and refresh.

Be sure to check out the many exciting things CC has in store for you this Holiday Season.
